Privacy Policy

Robtex for Slack ("the App") is operated by Robtex (robtex.com).

Data We Collect

When you use the App, we process:

• Commands you send — the text of your /robtex commands, DMs, and @mentions (e.g., "8.8.8.8", "google.com"). These are used solely to generate query results.
• Workspace metadata — workspace ID and team name (for rate limiting and install tracking).
• Slack user ID — used to publish the App Home tab. We do not store usernames, emails, or profile data.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not read or store channel messages, files, or conversations.
• We do not access user profiles, emails, or contact lists.
• We do not use Slack data to train machine learning models.
• We do not share any data with third parties.

Data Retention

Command logs (query text, workspace ID, timestamp) are retained for up to 90 days for rate limiting and debugging, then deleted. No personal data is stored beyond this.

Data Deletion

Uninstalling the App from your workspace removes all access. To request deletion of any logged data, contact us at info@robtex.com.

Security

All communication between Slack and our servers uses TLS 1.3. We verify every request using Slack's HMAC-SHA256 signature verification. Bot tokens are stored encrypted and never logged.
